After a brief introduction to the history and principles of the cyanotype process, we placed plant materials directly onto sensitized surfaces, exposed them to ultraviolet light, and developed them. In addition to this direct contact method, we also worked with photographic negatives to produce cyanotype prints from pre-existing images.
